Follow these easy steps to get your AEG Favorit 44860 Dishwasher up and running in no time.

1. Ensure Proper Connections

Before using your dishwasher for the first time, ensure that the electrical and water connections comply with the installation instructions provided.

2. Remove Packaging

Remove all packaging from inside the appliance to ensure no obstructions or materials interfere with its operation.

3. Set the Water Softener

The dishwasher is equipped with a water softener designed to remove minerals and salts. Adjust the water softener by turning the water hardness dial to the appropriate position according to your local water hardness level.

4. Fill Dishwasher Salt Container

Pour 1 litre of water inside the salt container and then fill it with specifically designed dishwasher salt to ensure optimal performance of the water softener.

5. Fill the Rinse Aid Dispenser

Fill the rinse aid dispenser to ensure that your dishes will dry properly and emerge spotless and shiny.

6. Turn on the Water Tap

Ensure that the water supply is turned on, allowing water to flow into the dishwasher when needed.

7. Close the Dishwasher Door

Securely close the dishwasher door to prepare the appliance for operation.

8. Power On the Dishwasher
